The Voice Experience Linux Has Been Missing.

Because Linux users deserve beautiful apps too. While others prioritize Windows and Mac, NexTalk is built exclusively for us. Offline, Native, and Invisible.

<20ms latency

Why NexTalk?

Invisible but Powerful.

Forget clunky windows. NexTalk is a "desktop ghost"—a transparent capsule that appears when you speak and vanishes when you stop. Built with Flutter for pixel-perfect rendering.

Your Voice. Your Device. Nowhere Else.

Powered by Sherpa-onnx, NexTalk runs 100% offline. No cloud APIs, no data collection, no latency. Your privacy is not a trade-off.

Built for the Modern Linux Desktop.

Native Fcitx5 integration via Unix Sockets means it works everywhere—Wayland, X11, Terminals, and IDEs. No hacky ydotool simulations.

How It Works

  1. Wake
Press your custom hotkey (Recommended: Alt + Space). The capsule appears instantly.

  2. Speak
Say what's on your mind. Text flows in real-time (<20ms).

  3. Vanish
Stop speaking to auto-submit, or press the hotkey again to vanish instantly.
